Hola Todos!
We are in Nicaragua! After a night of flying, we got to Managua yesterday, where we started the orientation, and now we are in Masaya, a really sweet town about 30 min from Managua. The people here are awesome - Nicaraguenses y los otras en la programa.
I can´t wait to see what we do next and see more of this beautiful y interesante pais!

I'm so excited!
Hi Everyone!
So this is my blog for Nicaragua - and beyond!
We leave on Saturday night / Sunday morning and will spend almost a week doing orientation activities in Managua and Masaya.
Then, we will go to meet our host families and our organizations. I will be working with an organization called AMIFANIC - Asociación de Mujeres para la Integración de la Familia en Nicaragua, in Ciudad Sandino, which works to empower women and provide legal help for victims of domestic abuse. I am really excited to speak Spanish and learn more about Nicaragua.
In the mean time, I'm thinking about how much I'll miss this amazing view of San Francisco!
Of course - I'll also miss everyone in Denver, San Francisco, and beyond, so keep in touch via the blog and/or email!
